Author of a book about the Holodomor accused of plagiarism

Cambridge University lecturer accuses author of Holodomor book of plagiarism
Daria Mattingly, a lecturer at the University of Cambridge, received the book "The Holodomor. The Story of Unconscious Trauma" by Vitalii Ohienko, found her ideas and sentences plagiarized. According to Daria Mattingly, a lecturer in Soviet history at the University of Cambridge, she received Ogienko's book for review.
"In the section on the local perpetrators of the Holodomor, I saw my already published ideas, assumptions, conceptual approaches, and even entire sentences without reference to me," Mattingly wrote.
She clarified that she had asked the author about this issue. In response, she received "a lot of excuses - from 'no one told me' and 'this is the format of the book' to 'but you are mentioned in the list' of general literature for the chapter and 'I always write so strangely'." Mattingly emphasized that the author of The Holodomor. A History of Unconscious Trauma" reproached her for not agreeing to write an annotation for the book earlier, which, according to Ogienko, would have prevented this situation now.
