On the Scimago Institutions Rankings website, you can see an infographic showing the distribution of all the institutions grouped by region and by country and discriminated by sector. By selecting a country you can see the variation of the position in the ranking of its institutions in recent years.

Here are the results for Ukraine:

As we can see from the infographic for Ukrainian institutions, the number of publications from universities in the Scopus database has increased in recent years. It can also be seen that since 2018, the research ranking has slightly decreased, but as the figures for 2022 show, the national struggle has also been reflected in Ukrainian science.
